::Hanthana mountain range is our hiking training center, and also calling home for our village hikers. We access the mountain through kalugamuwa. Hanthana is a special hiking place for our villagers (kalugamuwa). We went hanthana somany times with somany routes.we have special places for camping. Hanthana mountain range contain 7 peaks and ooragala is the higest peak 1158m aprx. The range is favourite among mountain hikers and univercity students. (Peradeniya univercity and others) Somany students missing here while hiking due to heavy mist and rain.
