Visited from Bangalore, India Overall it was a disappointment since the venues chosen were poor Driver Stanley was least informed, lazy and avoiding driving, insisting on his itinerary rather than our preference or convenience. If he couldn't find parking nearby he would refuse to take us there. Several days, he got away with 2 hrs of travel and he had the audacity to advise us to rest at 9 am for an entire day in the hotel at Bentota so that he could go back to Colombo! He was trying to slip away everyday with the least amount of work or hours. - When we landed in Colombo, he dropped us at Bentota hotel and told us that we could relax in the hotel from 9 am onwards and he would go back to Colombo! - When we insisted on seeing places the same day, he took us around, dropped us back to Hotel The Surf, did not confirm whether lunch was available. As soon as he left, we found out that the restaurant is closed. Their coffee shop had the poorest service, took 20 mins to provide water, 40 mins to provide simplest of desserts. We were tired, thirsty, famished. Later we found that the driver Stanley was staying back and we could have easily called him to take us for lunch. What was his hurry in disappearing, I don’t understand. - He wanted to finish Galle on day 1, so he could skip Day 2 and go back to Colombo. We had to vehemently insist that he come the next day - Even in Kandy, driver was very hesitant to travel where we wanted, he would insist on minimizing his driving, cribbing about even a 10 km deviation. He wanted to finish off places to visit before dumping us at the hotel and rushing off - His driving was rash, overtaking every vehicle in front of him – almost for couple of hours while approaching Kandy since it is a one lane road. There were several close moments, he even got a speeding ticket. He continued the same way even after the ticket. Sri Lanka has greater police presence, a more disciplined traffic and Stanley was the only chaotic one on the street. - Very jerky driving, only when the road was empty, was the drive smooth. - At every place he insisted on his way, very stubborn - In Colombo, he said parking is a problem. So he took us around for couple of hours and then asked us to manage on our own using Auto Rickshaws. Each Auto fellow would take us to a Gem place since they get free petrol and wasted hours, all because of a stubborn driver. - Even on the last day, my wife and daughter had to walk to Cinnamon Grand to fetch lunch. I asked him about picking them up from there – a very short ride. He gave several excuses and finally my wife and daughter walked all the way after a heavy buffet, in the hot afternoon sun - The driver switched off the AC without telling us to save fuel - Stanley, has no knowledge of restaurants, places worth visiting, refuses to follow google maps directions even when we provided it for him - Please do not engage JetWing Travels, or Stanley, The Surf Hotel or Ramada in Colombo ever again. - Earls Regency was the best hotel. - At Ramada, it smelled of cigarettes everywhere, saw a cockroach as soon as we entered the room, make sure you ask for preference of your customer, default is non-smoking rooms

Hi. I'm from Malaysia. I just went for a tour with Jetwings for a week in a group of 7 people. We booked it through Shahen Pereira. Hotel arrangements was good. Lavish and posh. I definitely do not recommend the tour. Yala National Park was the worst. The place was dry and almost no animals. Too much traveling. Almost half the trip was only in the van. Distances was too far from one location to the other. We travelled to few places according to Shahen's plan. Not worth the travelling and the time. The driver will only take to expensive places for shopping. Food was ok. Not even any one restaurant could beat the food in Malaysia.
