::My partner and I spent a total of 9 nights at maneesha guesthouse while in weligama and we loved it!!! One of our favourite places we have stayed in our 5 months so far travelling Asia. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is new and clean with hot water. The towels are absorbant and soft. We spent time relaxing at the outside seating area upstairs, a perfect place to watch and listen to the native wildlife. We saw lots of birds, eagles up high, peacocks down low, squirrels, fireflies, we also got to see some monkeys and observed closer from the street. It's very quiet at Maneesha guesthouse and tucked into nature. You can say goodbye to the sounds of the traffic especially the buses! We loved the spot, a nice walk into town or to the beach or a short tuk tuk or motorbike ride. Pathmini, Punchi and Randika are very helpful, friendly and welcoming hosts. They are very happy to help as much as they can. Pathmini cooks the most AMAZING food !!! Trust me, you will not be left hungry ;) breakfast lunch dinner and snacks are available at a cheap price. The serving size is huge! Our laundry was returned to us very clean. If I could I would rate maneesha guesthouse higher then 5! We had a very special time here experiencing welligama with a Sri Lankan family. We will be back!!! And another big thankyou with love to Pathmini, Punchi and Randika, our Sri Lankan Family :) :) :)

::A wonderful place, a great place !!! The environment and the vibe was beyond what I have ever experienced! Good and comfortable rooms with all the necessities, excellent breakfasts, lunches, dinner and other foods and drinks along with the personalized service! The food is made then and their at home, you can practically participate in cooking if you want. The air is so fresh and so is the wildlife just beside the hotel. The surrounding is so calm and quiet you can almost get in touch with your inner peace. The hotel is managed by such friendly people full of hospitality. They basically take care of all your needs, they are so flexible on everything! Interesting conversationalists and good, good people! Prompted many interesting places and met wonderful people. To top it all off, the fair rates for the foreigners. It is one of those few places where they don't feed off of tourists. Definitely will go back and highly recommended for everybody.

::Absolutely fantastic!! The location is very close to bus and train but is outside of town set in a quiet, peaceful and beautiful area.
