  A lovely place to sit and meditate in peace with lovely blowing from great shady trees. Great photo opportunities with lovely lighting from the tall towering tress. There's a tuck shop just outside which has almost any item of convenience. There is a strict no policy on cameras and mobile phones.However should you wish to brave the authorities and risk your self esteem like me then go for the shot. The downside is that this religious lady or diety " Maniyo" only picks out devotees basically sensing them out if they only deserve her blessing. She is somewhat of a horoscope reader and fortune teller of sorts. So you could leave with a blessing or stay patiently for hours still waiting on her blessing.

  Special help for patients, for Fortune, succeed of aim. I can say this is unbelievable duty she is doing. Everyone should wear white dress for this place.

  Only fools visit places like these. Maniyo (a former minor staff of teaching hospital anuradhapura ) is psychiatric patient not taking proper treatments. She attribute all hallucinations and delusions to a special power. දරුනු මානසික රෝගියෙක්.දැන් සල්ලි හොයන මුදලාලි කෙනෙක් .

  A blessed and a sacred temple. You will get blessed by visiting and participating in the religious activities carried out in the temple. Situated in a calm and quiet environment in Anuradhapura sacred city. Only opens in Saturdays and sundays, except for special days. It is a must visit place in your visit to Anuradhapura.
