  Raja Elephant Tusker is the great animal that carried the Tooth Relic. Carried it for the annual Esala for around 50 years. This museum is dedicated for the elephants honor.

  A museum of very historical relevance for Sri Lankans considering importance of elephants. Museum basically describes about the sacred elephant.

  This is the elephant that carried the Tooth, a great tusker. It was stuffed and it can be found in the museum. On the walls there are pictures with the elephant and presidents. There's also an elephant tooth in here. You can easily observe the great size and large tusks of the tusker compared with other regular elephants.
