  Main teaching traning center in Sri lanka. People also call it Maharagama Teaching college. it has good facilities for Traning programs, conference halls , exhibition halls and They have educational books and papers outlet. well maintained nice location. and more

  NIE is considered a premier teacher education institute in Sri Lanka. However, for the past few years, it has not earned a good name and it is generally known as a place where there are adequate facilities for educational development but they are not properly utilised. This institute has become more politicised and the general public tends to believe that NIE wastes a lot of public funds rather than it helps promote education in the island.

  Should rate more than 5 stars. One of a most valuable place for sri lanka education. Its kind of Training center . Lots of standard courses are conducting for government teachers. Well maintained and environmental friendly atmosphere.
