  A worthy stop on the way to Kandy. History of railways in srilanka is presented methodically. Good supportive staff. Can spend about one hour. Car park available.

  Great place to visit on your way to the hill country. Located adjacent to Kadugannawa railway station. It has a good collection. The staff was very helpful and explained about the various items in the museum. Good place for gather knowledge on the history and development of railway systems in Sri Lanka.

  It was a nice experience. And it's really worth visiting. A person who visits kandy definitely should visit this place to gain sound knowledge on the history of the rails in sri lanka.. the staff is also very friendly and supportive.

  oldest railway engines and rail coach restorent also here
