  Old empire is old and uniqu hotel near kandy lake good good food. And old but very clean living his front Ofice manager so much cooperative and respectable person must go to live there's. Shahid.

  Great location and rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Shared bathroom has cold water and there is no WiFi, you have to order something at the restaurant below for access but they change the password every day

  Rooms 4 and 6 have ensuite, the rest are shared bathrooms and all are cold water. Moderate prices for best central location near the lake, temple and shops. Charming colonial building kept generally clean by friendly staff. Unfortunately, ancient bedding is an issue and fleas and bedbugs come free. Restaurant/ cafe downstairs serves good but limited international style menu, portion controlled but nicely presented, prices on the high side for Kandy.
