  Not a bad place to camp outside of Colombo. Western breakfast in the morning. Car is secured by a gate/fence. English newspapers to read. HOT water! Hotel needs a facelift but who cares. Staff are really good. Sheets are clean. Beds are comfortable.

  First place i stayed at after arriving in Sri Lanka, and it was a good. Its located at a good location and reaching beach is easy by walk. Many pubs and restaurants options at the beach area for food or drinks. The resort has a nice and well maintained pool. There is railway track right beside the resort which was a bit disturbing. Staff was friendly and helpful giving us tips for our trips. Overall we were happy with the stay, but felt the pricing was a bit expensive for the facilities and the condition of the place.

  Frukost är god, går att välja mellan local breakfast, dvs på landets vis, och continental. Rummen är okej men städningen har inte varit perfekt, nya lakan hade fläckar och golvet var märkbart ostädat. Efter att vi uppmärksammade personalen om detta städades det bättre. Nära till stranden innebär tyvärr nära till tåget men man vänjer sig, öronproppar uppmuntras! Personalen är trevlig och visar att de försöker få ens vistelse vara så god som möjligt!

  My Indian guests were staying at this place they had booked through some tour operator. They had stayed at all good places while traveling around Sri Lanka. But this last night in Colombo was at Ranweli Beach Resort and was not a good experience. They complained that the rooms were not clean and the room was very small for triple.

  Chose the standard room. Well, one of the most uncleaned​ hotel room I have ever been to. Bathrooms are very dirty and stinks a lot. Breakfast served there is very very basic and also cold. The room towels are also dirty. No phone to connect to the reception. The photos posted are the proof.
