::Kandy didn't really impress us to much. Might be because we were very tired already. But all the attractions seemed to cost a bit too much plus you need someone to drive you around. We had tho great accommodation and tlthe people were really nice.

::Really it relaxed me a lot to visit the city Kandy... I walked among the busy streets and enjoyed the scenery of Bogambara lake. I visited the holy temple of tooth relic... Having a lot more to wander I left the city in warm afternoon .

::Very sacred place. Temple of tooth of Loard Buddha is the most important place in Kandy. It is the reason for the Kandy city to be a sacred place.. Even though you are a non Buddhist you should visit here and experience the place.

::One of the more ornate places on our trip. The most impressive part, the ancient inner temple, which was heavily influenced by the orient. It is here you can see and read about the sacred Buddha Tooth, interesting English translations. There is even a museum dedicated to a famous elephant that paraded there.
