  This temple is very beautiful temple to visit. This temple is begining at once open a time there was one thero who come to this place and lived this place. Then the thero built the temple then they found a gem then they called a manik temple. After a long years closed this temple then 1948 one person come to mount lavinia and bring plant of sri maha bodiya then the plant put this place then next day the plant can't get then the plant plants this place and after it's become temple. Now the temple nayaka thero is Rajakeeya Panditha Sasthrapathy Waththegama Ananda thero.
