  Destroy silk fabrics for more than 60000 rupees by wrong measurement of shoulders and arms. Measurement taken by The Attire Boutique in store. Refuses to take responsibility. The dresses has now been valued by 3 different tailors, all of Them saying shoulders, breast and bag to small, and this is not possible to alter. Now she is blaming the fabrics store for Selling bad fabrics charging to much. Below is the fabric stores respons. Hello Dorte. This is Harees from Fashion Fabrics. I am one of the partners of the establishment and upon recieving the message forwarded to me, I wish to personally handle this matter. First of all I apologize in the delay to respond. I remember vaguely your purchase at the store on the said date. We were sitting around the cashier point and having a discussion with the sales staff on pure silk stock after your purchase. I can however assure you that the fabric sold to you is indeed Pure Silk. I have also followed your conversation on the attire boutique's page and find it quite amusing that they are more knowledged on the fabric that our 25 year old store sells. This is the second similar instance a tailor spoilt a customer's pure silk fabric, and in order to save cost to replace the fabric, the customer was quickly told it is Italian Silk. Pure silk needs more care when being sewn on and not all tailors can manage that. We went through the trouble of getting a lab test for the customer which assured that it was indeed Pure Silk. This is a common practice amongst tailors who ruin customer dresses and deeply disappointing. We are the largest fabric store in Colombo and there is absolutely no way that you would have been cheated. For further assurance to you, I would like to provide you with a lab test to prove that what you were sold at our store was indeed pure silk. If you wish, we can proceed if you could mail us the sample or little pieces of the fabric. We will do everything we can from our end to provide you with a lab test confirming the properties of the fabric that you bought. Awaiting your reply Best Regards Harees
