  Very friendly place. Excellent food and friendly personal who went crab hunting at night with us and kids. On our way back to Colombo a nice place to rest on the beach. Good accommodation for the category.

  My family and I were fortunate enough to spend 2 nights at The Sand Castle Wadduwa. It is a majestic Colonial style buidling with beautifully conceptualized modern refurbishments. The 2 modern suites located on the of right wing of the house deserve a special mention, as they are furnished with all the required amenities and we had a truly comfortable stay there. Mr. Mohan was a gracious host and ensured that we were all well taken care of. The food was exceptional and truly one of their strong suits. In addition to it all, a well maintained pool and a beach located in close proximity, all combine to ensure that a relaxing and comfortable beach stay can be enjoyed with the care of an attentive and hospitable staff. Highly recommended!

  The place was fine. I got a spacious room. It had a large TV and a well cleaned bathroom. Even the bed was very comfortable but I am not satisfied with the condition of the swimming pool. The menu was good with a lot of seafood and an exceptional mushroom soup but for desserts I only got a small piece of pudding. They could have add a few fruits. Even though it is small in size it is a quite place to spend a vacation

  The overall experience is exactly what is to be expected from such establishments. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing while the staff was very helpful. The food was amazing and definitely worth the price.
