  We stayed at the Vogelnest for a week, and it was wonderful! I'd recommend this place to anybody who is travelling to Midigama for the summer holidays. It has a small, beautiful beach including a surfspot (right and left wave) right at its doorstep and you can easily go to Weligama or Kabalana by Tuk Tuk from here as well (also great surfspots). There are A/C and non-A/C rooms, which are not too pricey, super-clean and comfortable with a big bed incl. a mosquito net and even a small table and chairs. The bathroom is also clean and has a nice, big shower. You can order breakfast (European/American/Sri Lankan), snacks or dinner (e.g. yummy Rice & Curry) here - all of which taste great and are prepared with love. The jungle is kind of all around the house, so there's a lot to see (e.g. birds, sometimes monkeys). The hosts are very friendly and help out whenever they can. They can also arrange airport transport. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will definitely stay here again next time we come to Sri Lanka.
