  We had a very nice stay, the balcony and view is great, comfy bed, good internet, plenty of restaurants around to eat, helpful staff and only a short ride to the town.

  My stay here was incredible! Not only was the place very clean and comfortable, but the hospitality and service here was also exceptional. Wish I could've stayed more than two days. If you're traveling to Kandy, this is definitely the place to stay.

  I cannot say enough good things about our stay at 2in1. This has been the best hostel/homestay experience we've had in our month of travels in Sri Lanka. A HUGE thanks to our wonderful hosts. Here’s what I loved: The beautiful, comfortable beds. Framed and featuring not only mosquito nets, but private curtains. Even though we were here during a very hot season, the house stayed cool and the fan in our room kept us very comfortable. There is no air conditioning. Clean! So very, very clean. Randika, the young man who helps at the house, was always working diligently to be sure the kitchen, bathrooms and public spaces were perfect. Friendly, professional service. The staff have mastered the art of staying close enough to respond to our questions or needs and offer travel help and insights, but never felt cloying. They gave us our quiet space, but were instantly available when we needed them. The kitchen is equipped with more gadgets and conveniences than I expected. We were able to easily cook our own meals when we wanted to. Plus, they provided freebies like tea and milk powder. A washing machine we could use for just 150 a load. Simple, delicious breakfast of egg, papaya, banana, tea/coffee and toast and jam for just 250 LKR. Big, lockable wardrobes in our bedroom. Veranda with a GORGEOUS view of the surrounding hills. We even had monkeys come visit us one day! FAST wifi in the living areas and on the veranda. Tuk Tuk or van available to take us where we needed to go. The shared bathroom was very cleverly designed. Private shower stalls with hot water and lots of hooks. Best shower and pressure we’ve had in country! A few things to note: There is a busy road below the house. This can get noisy during certain times of the day, but becomes quiet at night and did not disturb us. We didn’t get very good wifi in our room, but it was great when we moved to the living room. They even brought in a desk so I could easily work with my computer in the good wifi zone. 2in1 is about a 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride from the center of town. 300 LKR. This turned out to be a good thing for us as our previous place in town was always smoggy and noisy. Truly, we had a wonderful stay at 2in1. If we pass through Kandy again, we will certainly stay here!
