  Location: Absolutely fabulous if you love a hot Sandy Beach. Room: We stayed at the new wing. Large spacious room with a comfortable bed. Fits an entire family. Food: Average. That is why it lost one star

  This hotel is a good balance of comfort, luxury and simplicity. Rooms are decent for the price. Location is good, pools are nice and staff is friendly. A lovely beach stretches in front of the hotel where one can take a long walk. Sometimes fish is sold out on the outside barbeque because it's all subject to availability in the local market. At least it's always fresh!

  Rooms are splendid. ..swimming pools are very clean and enjoyable. .very good place to enjoy with family and babies..walking distance to beach...marvelous. ..

  Nice hotel, rooms are very dated but it's a great location. Right on the beach and very close to lots of restaurants and cafes. The bar at the hotel was good too, they even had a great happy hour. The hotel also allows you to use their stand up paddle boards, table tennis table and other activities which meant we really used the hotel as a base every day we were at Unawatuna!
