::Great place to surf. Nice accommodation. Friendly staff. Great surf Instructors. Yoga classes. Entertaining live music on Fridays. Really enjoyed my week spent there.

::Sion has those genuine hippie vibe; with hammocks, relaxed chats and the best waves up front. This is the place to go if you want to mix calm and a bit of fun. Except for making a couple of the “have to do” excursions to the mountains, Galle, etc, I ended up spending most of my three weeks here. You’ll find a nice mix of travelers and a welcoming and including staff. So even if you’re traveling alone, you’ll definitely never feel alone. So, if you start your trip here, you’ll definitely find others to discover the rest of the island together with. The perfect start for a spontaneous vacation. If you compare facilities and price, this is really a four stars place. But you don’t come here for the comfort, you come here for the people, and they are all five stars. PS. If you want quite nights away from music and the busy road in the back, stay at the Lagoon camp, it’s only a five minute walk. You won’t miss the ocean view, you’ll be on it all day long.

::Great place to have a couple of drinks with a quick snack. You can also surf here, the break is very consistent here!
