  Ancient temple of tooth in Anuradhapura. This is one of the earliest shrines for the sacred tooth relic. The tooth relic became the symbol of royals in the ancient Sri Lanka so the location of the tooth relic shifted with the shift of kingdoms after the anuradhapura kingdom. However the shrines remained abandoned.

  The Temple of the Tooth is a majestic site whose beauty matches its lengthy history. It is no wonder why this place is a World Heritage Site. It is also a very religious place so be sure to respect everyone when you go down there. Just make sure you don't miss out on this hidden gem!!

  A past Temple of Tooth Relic in the Anuradhapura sacred city. Not many people visit but a place you must visit to see its glory still.
