  BED BUGS! BEWARE! We felt itchy in the morning and looked in the bed to see little bugs in the crevices of the mattress. Having bed bugs is awful. Don’t risk it! There are tons of places in this town for the same or cheaper price that are much cleaner and nicer. Also, they did a really bad conversion rate so the price of the room ended up being $3 more, which is what some of the nicer hotels cost, so it’s not even the most budget. Stay somewhere cleaner for the same or cheaper price! Kandy has a lot to offer. -side note, balcony view in picture is a cement floor overlooking the street with no table or chairs, so not something to relax and look out on (I mention because the view was part of the reason we booked the room) and the house is in a bad and noisy (lots of traffic) neighborhood

  A little far from town centre but within walkable distance for no lazy people. TukTuk driver will charge you 200 rupee which is 5times more then for locals. Rooms are nice and comfortable. The owner lady is a typical Sri Lankan with big smile. She is helpful and polite but to be honest you are just a walk in money. Nice view from on the way to the centre.

  Stayed one night was comfortable and clean. Hosts were really nice. It is a little hidden at the top of a very steep hill but found it quickly in the end.
