  The junction is at the middle of the kumbalwala village. The roads from wasulla to meenaewa and kmbukwetiya to kirigahapitiya interesect here. Although the place has the potential to be a center of buisness supplying day to day groceries for the people in the village, it has been hardly used. The piece of land near the junction is generally used as a playground by the village kids to play cricket or volleyball and ocassionally its used as a hosting place of musical shows ceremonies and assemblies.
