  If you are a first time traveller, please install some sort of a Train travel app ("Train finder-srilanka" is recommend) as it will make you life a bit easier. The platform is quite high enough for getting in to most train models. There is however a bit of a rush for the morning trains(the office trains starting out till 7am).

  Maybe the smallest train station I have visited but charming. Easy way haw to get Colombo.
