::රජ්්ය භාණ්ඩාගාරයෙන් වියදම් කොට සංඝයාට දානය පිළියෙළ කර දුන් දාන ශාලාව මෙයයි. එක පෙළට විශාල භික්ෂු පිරිසක් දානය ගැනීමට එහි පැමිණි නිසා මහාපාළි යන නම ලැබී ඇත. මෙහි බත් ඹරුවක් ද දක්නට ඇත. ජලය ලබා ගත් ළිද ද මෙහි දක්නට ලැබේ.
