Hikers do not allowed to the top of the mountain, before you visit the place you get a special permission for that. If you do not obay the rules in there you shoul punished by the department. ::A beautiful and interesting trail. 40 mins return for half the distance (stopping at the waterfall). Apparently 2 hours return for the whole walk if you don't get lost!

::want enjoy forest life..must go to "Ritigala" it's a beautiful mountain forest. Last year when I went there there was no charges for the entrance. But, I heard now they claim 20/= for the locals. Whatever it's still an awesome place to send your time in peaceful.
