  No much facilities. But as a basic it's good to have a railway station here.

  As a tourist this was a new ecperience for me. Buyimg the ticket to the old fashioned ticket press to boarding a train thats very old, dogs lying on the platform, people running all over the tracks. I should give it zero but i loved it. This is how life should be.

  If you want to avoid morning and evening traffic then Train is a best option for you. You can reach fort by just 20mins

  An excellent option to bypass the morning and evening traffic , but Srilanka Railways has failed to develop and maintain this colonial era gift.r
